How can this be released in 02/01/2008 when it's only January 2, 2008? I hope this new version is more stable than the previous version that I had to uninstall just to get my IE7 to work properly. Other than that, this is a good product and I will certainly download the lastest version.
They're from China, I think, hence the date. Most countries outside the US write the date a dd/mm/yyyy, which makes more sense, when you think about it.

The new version is although more robust than previous but I think that the MiniDM should have more features or call it only DM
The proxy status icon (in status bar) is too hard to see: blue for proxy-off vs. green for proxy-on, it's just too hard to see. And please make a text label next to the icon indicating which proxy is being used, as I have too many proxy servers here, each with different connectivity and speed to different countries. I'd also like to see rules-based auto switching of proxy, something like foxyproxy.

Is there a way to prevent the "Mini-DM" from being installed? I love IE7 Pro, but I really don't like the Mini Download Manager. I find it clunky and I prefer IE's built-in DM.
Other than that, this software has made me use IE again after being a firefox user since the 0.7 days.
My apologies. I found you can disable Mini-DM through the preferences.
